OSSEC vs FCIV
the_Grinch
Has anyone seen an instance where OSSEC provided a different sha1 hash then FCIV? I was under the impression that the sha1 should be the same regardless of the tool, but we are seeing some differences. Any ideas would be awesome.

I actually found the answer to this issue. Seems it is a bug in OSSEC that is causing the issue and they haven't fixed it.
