Cyber Security Certificate vs Degree

I just completed my AA in Business and currently taking an A+ course. I am now thinking about going back and getting my bachelors in IT or Cyber Security. I noticed that a local online school(APU) offers a Certificate in Cyber Security and I wanted to know if that would mean anything to an employer. I realize they would rather see a bachelors but if I could just take the 5-6 courses to get the certificate that would be much easier(on the wallet).

Now days, you will find that a lot more people out there have 4-year degrees and the competition is more fierce. I definitely recommend getting the bachelors degree. Hard work, patience, and dedication always pays off in the end.WGU Progress: Master of Science - Information Technology Management (Start Date: February 1, 2015)

If you have a scheduling issue with the certificate, fill in with the other classes for the degree.Andy
