First the MCSE for Server infrastructure. Hopefully will be going to a two week boot camp. Until then I am working on learning powershell. as I suck at it.

then VCAP. I'd like to do the desktop one. Maybe another VCP failing that, like network virtualization since we will be using NSX at somepoint.

    Work is pushing me pretty hard to knock out some Palo Alto and Check point certs, so my goals look like this;

    Palo Alto: CNSE v6
    Check Point: CCSA
    Cisco: CCDA
Cisco: CCNP-Security (At least one exam down)

Looks like a busy year ahead!
cissp, pcnse, ccnp, ccnp security, nse4

My vision of this year will be the following:

    1. Jan. 26th... CCNA: Wireless to refresh my certs. I forgot until Cisco sent me an email... We'll see.
    2. Finish WGU.
    3. CCNP R&S.

Yippie! What a fun year this will be! Best of luck to everyone!

My goals changed at the beginning of 2014. I'm in a Juniper environment, so a lot of my Cisco goals have been transposed to Juniper ones. That being said, I felt I met my goals for the year.

Now, 2015 is a big year for me. It will be my first stab at a P-Level cert. I hope to have this one done by June. I have my lab, material, and game plan in order. Not sure if I will set up a post/blog about my studying here, but I'm entertaining the thought. Then, I can focus on JNCIS-ENT, and CCNA:S. I'd be surprised if I would have/make time for anything other than that.

    Primary Objective
    - JNCIP-SEC

    Secondary Objective
    -JNCIS-ENT
    -CCNA Security

    Lofty/Fun Objective
    -CWNA
    -Supplementary Juniper cert

Good luck to everyone this year!!! Lets grab 2015 by the horns!!!

2015 will be a busy year for me. I am trying to finish my BS in Networks and Security at UMUC, but that will most likely bleed into 2016 for a few classes. I will be taking classes that are supposed to prepare me for the following certifications, but we will see how many I feel confident enough to attempt. There won't be enough time between classes to spend much follow up study time, so it will be a quick decision.

    Spring: CCENT, CCNA, CEH, 70-410

    Summer: CCE, Linux+

    Fall: CISSP, MFCE, CSIH, 70-411

    Spring '16: 70-412

I can guarantee that I won't be able to get all of them, but I will try for most. There is also a chance I may switch courses for the CCE and MFCE. I am focusing on school full time, so I have no excuses at this point. Wish me luck.

    3- ECSA
    4- LPT
    5- CHFI
6- Complete my MIS till Dec, 2015.

Update: Just recently discovered that my program has changed. The CIW and MTA certs have been removed. Modified my plan accordingly:

    1. A+ *Done 01/2014
    2. Network+ *Done 02/2014
    3. Security+ *In Progress, 02/2015
    4. Project+ *In Progress, 02/2015
    5. Linux+ *02 - 03/2015 (End of Month)
    6. Cisco CCENT & CCNA *04 - 07(end of month)/2015
    7. Cisco CCNA:Security *08 (Light Studying) - 10/2015

I will see if I can "fit in" a ITIL v3 in 12/2015 for specific security requirement purpouses (DoD, DoE, etc).
    WGU B.S. IT - Progress: Feb 2015 - End Date Jan 2018

Didn't get a chance to complete ICND2 and CCNA Security last year although I'm pretty much ready to sit the exams, so definitely those two soon. Possibly CCNA: Voice, CCNP: ROUTE and I'd love to do OSCP. Might even do CCNP: Security, but think it's better left off until I get more experience.

2015, let's see. I might have multiple VoIP projects coming but we'll see what really happens.

    With that said:
    • CCNA: Voice most likely (Tackling this one next)
    • WCNA would be cool
    • May look at another CWNP exam to renew my CWNA
    • May start back up CCIE: R/S
I'd consider CCNP: Wireless but those exams haven't seen an update in 3 years.

Latest blog post: Let's review EIGRP Named Mode
Currently Studying: CCNP: Wireless - IUWMS

Officially laying down some goals for 2015
70-646 - Will make me MCSA 2008 which is long overdue.
70-417 - Hopefully pushing through to 2012 with the momentum
VCP-DCV - Will be costly but would be very helpful.

CCNA: Sec - to renew CCNA, unsure about going to CCNP level.

Finishing WGU BS:IT early this year will check off
    CCNA:R&S
    CCNA:Security
    Linux+

Then I strike out and do CISSP before starting my MS:ISA at WGU. Might try to fit ITIL in there somewhere. Busy year for sure.
  • romeo1808romeo1808 Member Posts: 83 ■■□□□□□□□□
Have you started your MISA from WGU, and if so how is it? I'm planning on starting after I'm done my ISM post grad certificate at fanshawe.

I won't start the MS until May or June. Still have to finish the BS first.
