Could really use some help finding good study material for CAS-001

in CASP+
I took exam and failed. Not sure by how much. Pass/Fail does not tell you much. Used the sybex book and Fed/VTE video course. My thought is I rushed it. I only had 12 days to study for it because I found a discount exam voucher for $225. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Not a fun one to fail. I usually have good luck with CompTIA exams. (now 10/12 Pass).

    I have considered that, but I have 2 books already and access to the FedVTE video series. Probably have to read the McGraw Hill book (didn't get a chance on the first try). I may go that route though. Interested to see what the differences are in the objectives for the new test. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Are they changing the CASP exam in 2015? It does need some work.

    Run through the labs in the Sybex book and get to know the tools.

    1/15/15 is supposed to be the official date from Comptia.

    However, I've been given a date of 11/30/14.

    I'm going to give it another try soon. Probably the end of January. I am trying to get my Linux+ out of the way before they change the objectives (I think Jan 13, 2015).

    I checked it as well. I think it may be the expiration of the voucher and not the exam.

    I had a problem with a couple of the simulations because they were not correct.
