I'm starting my Cyber Security concentration classes this coming quarter and i was wondering if there were any recommended materials out there to help supplement what may be taught to me in school. The courses are:
CIS 332 Network Server Administration
SEC 420 Perimeter Defense Techniques
SEC 435 Network Penetration Testing
There are not any descriptions just the names.

This isn't specific to an IT Auditing class but I have found it useful for almost every class. I will try to get the book a few weeks before class starts and read through the first 5 or 6 chapters. That way when the class starts, you can jump right into the first assignments and spend some time figuring out the other requirements of the class: time commitments, timing of due dates, etc, difficulty of assignments, etc.Andy
