Found this while bumping around trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my lab to get ready for the VCP. Seems nice, I really need to get some more memory as I'm only running 16 GB but we'll see how it works.

    yeah 16 GBs of RAM will be a little constraining. 32 GBs will be better.
    Current Certification Exam: ???
    Future Certifications: CCNP Route Switch, CCNA Datacenter, random vendor training.

    That is the lab setup I used when studying for the VCP. I was able to get by fine with 16gb. If you have the cash.... sure add more. I would highly recommend SSD storage. Everything comes up nice and quick... no sitting around waiting like you will with SATA drives.

    I just finished my VCenter install and got all the SSO setup and it's working like dream. 85% memory utilization.

    tstrp are there any good lab guides out there that take you through different scenarios?
