8192K bytes of processor board System flash partition 1 (Read ONLY)
8192K bytes of processor board System flash partition 2 (Read/Write)

Configuration register is 0x142

I am trying to connect to a tftp server

If I type "copy tftp flash"

I get "%Destination file system is read-only"

Is there a way to "repartition my flash"?? Should there be 2 partitions??

set the config register to 0x2102 and when in global config mode use the command (config)#no partition this should make it 1 partition then reformat your flash before loading new ios

How can I get rid of the read only? I was able to delete the second partition. Now I have 1 partition but I am unable to format or delete it.

the read only thing is normal its just mean you cant write files to it ad hoc. Issue and erase flash, then yes, then copy tftp flash, failing this you can load the IOS via the romnon mode using xmodem (this takes a fair while)
