    I took the CompTIA Cloud Essentials exam this morning and I can honestly say that the information from the CISM study material overlapped with respect to decision making, risk management, security and SLA with cloud computing. It was a 50 question, one hour exam, which in my opinion is geared towards management level IT, heavy on decision making and cost, however still technical from a concept standpoint. I believe the CompTIA Cloud+ is the full blow technical stuff. I did pass it..hahah!! The test was also heavy on the ITIL information, so if you have the ITILv3 Cert, the Cloud Essentials would be a nice pairing.

    Submitted mine on the 16th, minutes after receiving notification email, and still unreviewed.

    Sent them a tweet asking if they released notifications that applications are approved as they approve them, or all at once at the end of the 5 weeks, and they said they certify in groups. Take as you will.

    I received a letter from them with my score results. It's also available to print (results letter) on the ISACA website when you log in and go the Certifications tab.

    Just received an email from ISACA and have been granted CGEIT certification :)

    CISA application on Feb 4, 2014. Then, the application status changed to "Unreviewed"
    On Mar 11, the application status changed to "Complete-Under Review"
    On Mar 14, the application status changed to "Approved"
    On Mar 17, the application status changed to "Certified"


    CRISC application on Feb 7, 2014. Then, the application status changed to "Unreviewed"
    On Mar 5, the application status changed to "Incomplete"
    On Mar 10, Additional Information submitted
    On Mar 18, Audit request received
    On Mar 31, the application status changed to "Certified"

    CISM application on Jul 18, 2014. Then, the application status changed to "Unreviewed"
    On Jul 25, the application status changed to "Complete-Under Review"
    On Jul 25, the application status changed to "Approved"
    On Jul 25, the application status changed to "Certified"

    COBIT Assessor application on Jul 21, 2014. Then, the application status changed to "Unreviewed"

    I am going to my last InfoSec class this Saturday, as hoping to tack on some CPEs to CISA!

    Any update? I know they said 8 weeks, but who thought they would take the whole 8 weeks? What takes so long?

    CEH is no wait (you pre-apply) and CISSP is about 2-3 weeks - results you find out immediately.
