IOS Preference for CCNA/CCNP
Hey guys,
Getting back into the swing of things and I want to make sure that I'm up to date. Does 12.4T still cover most of the topics/commands on the current tests? Current routers/switches used to cover most of the exam topics/commands? Do I need to update/upgrade? Any information would be helpful to make sure I'm using the proper IOS' that are used on the current exams.
Thanks.

fredrikjj Member Posts: 879My guess is that the new tests are IOS 15.x, but the command syntax for existing features should be unchanged, and even there are slight variations, we're talking about Flash simulations in the exams, not an actual instance of the operating system. The issue would be if they test on new features that didn't exist when 12.4T was released. You would most likely discover this during your studies in any case.
