Job Search Engine Question??

Should I use Job boards such as indeed or should I set up search agents from companies I am interested in working for.
My current set up is that I have all my alerts come from Indeed every morning.
What do You guys think?

Why couldn't you do both? Or why do you think doing both is not an option?
