CCNP v2 Lab gear
Hey,
Just curious to know what people are using for labs, real gear or Boson sim etc. While doing CCNA I went with real gear. I have two 2950's in my lab setup, and want to add either two 3550's or 3650's. Am I correct is saying that the 3550's wont support IOS15.0 and private vlans. so maybe i should just concentrate on obtaining the 3560's. I'm halfway through the new OCGv2 switch book by "DH" 300-115 at the moment, so it would be great to get some perspective. Thanks

Currently my lab consists of
2x 6504-E
6x 2811 (3 routers and 3 emulating PCs)
3x 3560G
I really need to pull out my lab manual and start labbing everything though.

I will agree with all of this, however wanted to add something about the 3750. They do support Stackwise (Which is an easy config and a few minutes of overview), but if it is a standard 3750, it does not support IOS 15.x. 3750x, 3750g, and 3750v2 support it, but not the standard.

I just loaded up v15.0 on my 48TS's at the weekend...running fine...if you have access via CCO, download v15.0 from the 3560v2 packages.
