Certification Preparation
CompTIA
A+
Finally certified..

Not one to typically toot my own horn, but I passed my 802 yesterday after passing the 801 back in October. Story time.... I got a job in IT because my company hired a third party to do our copy centers (my position at the time). They didn't want to let me go, so they took a chance and put me in IT. 4 years later my manager decided it was about time I showed some initiative and get certified if I wanted to stay here any longer (yeah I got pretty content). Huge sigh of relief after seeing that passing score at the end of the test... Felt like a million bucks. This field isn't my passion by any means, but I'm in a great situation so I'm going with it. Plan on taking my N+ within the next two months and will decide on where to go from there. Hope others are as fortunate as I have been. Good luck to those who haven't yet taken the tests.

Congrats! Ricoh huh?
I'm just assuming because I worked IT at a place where we got rid of our printer/copy vendor and I had to start becoming the resident printer expert - fusers, toners, etc. Haha...

Congratulations.
CompTIA A+ and Network+ are very difficult. The last year I give Network+ and I fail it, so I plan take it again.
Good luck with your future exam.
