Exchange Starter - What to go for first
vlad06
Hello,
I'm interested in attaining intermediate level knowledge of MS Exchange server but I'm not sure what the certification track is. I could only find MCSE details and I can't exactly start on expert level.
Does the Exchange path start with a beginner's exam?
Thanks

The MCSE is a certification track made up of multiple certifications. There are 2 Exchange 2013 exams and either the Server 2012 MCSA or Office 365 MCSA combined to earn the MCSE. Start with the 70-341 exam for Exchange 2013, followed by the 342 Advanced exam. Then you need to decide the other part of the track. If you want to cover the general server administration, go the 2012 route. If you want to go further down the messaging path, go the Office 365 route. 90% of my messaging projects are Office 365 related. The first 365 exam focused on Identity management, something that is critical for the cloud future.
