Best vendor-neutral VoIP / IP telephony certification?

What is the most convenient exam for someone interested in IP telephony?

I think it's EC-Council's Certified VoIP Professional.

Two criteria: 1) The exam must be proctored. 2) It must be vendor-neutral. I like the way Cisco offers exams, but CCNA Voice seems to be too focussed on CUCM.

Basically, I would agree. Especially interpreting SIP logs is a great idea.

SIP school is pretty good, but i'm gonna be honest with you, its gonna be hard to land a job outside of low level ones without specific platform experience. So its best to save your dough and knock out the CCNA voice which covers the majority of the protocols, and gives you a dose of the platform.
    Currently Reading

CUCM SRND 9x/10, UCCX SRND 10x, QOS SRND, SIP Trunking Guide, anything contact center related

Those are just a few poorly written slides.
