Working in IT

I have been employed as an I.T. Support Specialist for 6 months now after 2 years of searching for a job. I love my job! I couldn't ask for a better entry level position as I am learning so much! I am beginning to feel as if I.T. is almost like working in the medical field. I say this because my company really depends on us! There is also alot of overtime and we are constantly needed! I really enjoy my work, but I didn't know I would feel so depended on by lots of people who look at me as their "hero".

"Here are their TCP **** with connections to a million SMTP servers and a regular connection pattern suggesting an automated mailer. Here are the blacklists for the IPs that were verified clean when assigned to the client. Here is a sample "buy viagra now" email fragment sniffed with Wireshark. Here is a Spamhaus blog entry regarding their office's IP address and connections of their company to known spammers. Your honour, the client has been disconnected, and I request the client is terminated immediately."
"Give them 24 hours to get their data off the server. Good work, officers." -
