Raspberry Pi 2 and Windows 10 Free
So it looks like Windows 10 will run on the newest version of the Raspi, for free.
I may have to look into this. At $35, not a bad investment to play around with.

It may end up just being a core version of the OS. I'll give it a try. If it doesn't work, then ill just put Linux back on it

It'll be Windows RT though since Raspberry Pi's still using ARM architecture. -

It'll probably run just fine on 1GB - I'm sure 2012 will run happily on 512! (As you rightly ask - who would want to!)
