OK, so I just received my super cool 2821 with 2 gig etherports and 2 WIC 1Ts.. I was cleaning out
the running config but when I did a copy ru st I got this:
Feb 7 01:49:10.771: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by console
R3#copy ru st
Destination filename [startup-config]?
Warning: Attempting to overwrite an NVRAM configuration previously written
by a different version of the system image.
Overwrite the previous NVRAM configuration?[confirm]n
No action taken because command was not confirmed
R3#sh flash
-#- --length--
date/time
path

57147392 bytes available (72605696 bytes used)
So I did a sh flash cuz I thought there was a second IOS on the flash, but the output above
does not show that, I'm guessing the run config was copied into a new uploaded iOS? Or something like
that : am I making sense?
Thanks Gurus!!!

Some config can be lost on the translation, so its a good idea to copy the existing startup to a text file and do a compare afterwards. You might notice some new default commands, command syntax change. Normally you don't see too many issue's upgrading, downgrading is more troublesome.Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$ -
