Email from PearsonVue: Testing Facility Closed, Reschedule 802 Exam

Today I received an email from Pearson Vue stating that the testing facility I am scheduled to take my 802 exam will be closed and I have to reschedule my exam. They didn't state why the testing facility is closing or if its temporarily or permanent.

So I logged in and was able to reschedule the exam for 3 days after my original date at another facility only a few miles away from where the original test site is located. So it worked out pretty good actually. I was afraid that I may have to wait longer as the available slots tend to fill up rather quickly.

Has this happened to anybody here?

    I test exclusively at New Horizons because I am not a criminal and I am not treated as such there. However, once I scheduled an exam on Memorial day. I showed up and the doors were locked! Be thankful you got a notice! I had to reschedule it for 3 days later. I was not very happy!

    New Horizons is where I took my 801 exam and where I was scheduled to also take the 802. Since I had to reschedule I went with Lincoln Technical Institue. It's not far from me and it had open slots as close to my original test date.

    What did you mean by, "I am not a criminal and I am not treated as such there"?

    I have never experienced what you did. However, I might be ready to tho because there is a possible snow storm heading my way this coming Thursday going into Friday. Friday is the day I am supposed to take my 802 exam. I live approximately few minutes away from the testing center in which I am scheduled to take the 802 exam. I hope I do not get an e-mail from Pearson Vue, stating that they cancelled my test and have to re-schedule it because of bad weather. I just want to take the 802 exam and get it all done and over with and be A+ certified.

    It happened to me with a MS exam at Pearson Vue. My original location changed their operating hours. I had to reschedule at a location 30 miles away. It sucked.
