CISSP Exam Passed

As was stated in an earlier thread, I've been a silent member for a long time, but I just wanted to say thanks for the insight and info for passing the CISSP.

As has been stated I used:

Shon Harris AIO 5th Ed (didn't feel like paying for the 6th ed.)
Eric Conrad, et al CISSP Study Guide 2nd Ed.
Eric Conrad, et al Eleventh Hour CISSP: Study Guide

Practice Testing included:

Total Tester 6.1.1 CISSP Practice Exam
Skillset (web-based Practice)
Eric Conrad Practice Questions.

I was getting 80-90% on the practice test listed above and IMHO it was mass overkill (i.e. I studied too much) for the exam. I was able to finish the exam with 3.5+ hours to spare and I didn't even bother to recheck my flagged questions.

So to sum up: Follow the numerous prep threads on this board and if your consistently passing the Harris/Conrad practice test at 80+ percent and UNDERSTAND WHY you're getting the answers selected, you will be WELL prepared for the CISSP exam.

Congrats on the pass. Did you read the entire AIO or just parts of it?

I only read the chapters of the AIO that I failed on the practice test (or wanted more info on). For me it was:

Info Sec Governance and Risk Mgt.
Security Architecture and Design

That said... I wasn't really pushed on the subjects when I took the test, so *shrug*

Security and Identity Access Architecture in Finance currently. I had a heavy background in Enterprise and Infrastructure Architecture before I converted to IT Security.
