Techguru365 Member Posts: 131 ■■■□□□□□□□it can definitely be done.search professer messer videos and start studying asap. also bear in mind that you take two separate exams in order to become A+ certified, however both can be taken on the same day if you choose. however you have the motivation in the offer to push you along. study hard and you will be fine, if needed, aim to do the first exam in one month time and the second part the following month. A+ is kinda like a right of passage into IT for most ppl, go kick ass!

I did it in 6 weeks with practically no experience using the All In One A+ book by Mike Meyers. Don't be misled though I was studying EVERY day and was laid off at the time. So basically commit if your willing to be dedicated. -

We expect our new hires to be Security+ certified within a month. Granted, they sit at a desk and do nothing but study, but I think you'll be fine if you stick to studying the material every day and watching Messer's videos. -

This can absolutely be done in that time frame. If you had a job and worked 40 hours a week and then spent every other waking moment studying, you could probably do it in a week and a half with zero experience assuming you're somewhat technical to begin with. That's literally every waking moment though.
I'd say a normal time frame for someone who is hitting the books moderately (5-7 hours a week) could do it in 5 weeks or so.
One thing a lot of people forget is that certification is not like school. A pass is a pass, there is no grading. And the passing scores are low. You don't have to feel SUPER 100% know-everything comfortable to pass a CompTIA exam.2019 Certification/Degree Goals: AWS CSA Renewal (In Progress), M.S. Out of all of the certs available, A+ is one of the easiest one there is. So yes, A+ is very attainable in 2 months time, even for someone that is in a full time job, or a full time student, you just have to make your mind up to do it, if your job depends on it, then it should be no problem at all.
