If you have a CCENT/CCNA lab similar to mine, 3x Cisco 2811 Routers, 2x Cisco 2950 Switchs and a Cisco 3560 PoE Switch, you may want to know how much power it draws. I used a power meter to find out. Right now it is pulling 180 watts. Keep in mind that this is sitting idle. I would imagine that if you start working them it would go higher.

Surprisingly, I have my lab and computer all plugged into my UPS. Got my bill last week and surprisingly, only have to split the $250 with my roommate. Not too bad at all....

I hear that utilities are expensive in USA but didn't think that a room will cost 250$ per month!

My electric / water bill for this month is 12$, the unsubsidized cost is 73$ (This is the actual cost of producing the electricity and purifying the water), and I live in a small house.

This is for 744 KWH of power and 18 cubic meters of water.

Yep, one of the first things I did was used a watt meter on every device so I know how much power each device is using at idle / running.

3640s 2811s and 3550s are high on the list, with 2950s and 26xx and 1841 much lower.
