    There's a fair bit to learn on standard access lists and extended. Once you get your head round it it's second nature.

    I wouldn't let it put you off though, if you are using CBTNuggets, it's explained quite nicely.

    It's in the exam objectives, so you need to know it.
    +1 on that. Anything in the objectives is fair game. I would suggest reading a good amount and labbing just to reinforce your knowledge. Labbing ACLS will make it stick as you learn how acls work in practical use, plus you can incorporate other knowledge you've gained into creating a mock lab in Packet tracer (configuring ospf, switchport security, Vlans, ROAS, etc)
