Anybody ever work for Dell Secureworks?

This is a question for the infosec people. Has anybody ever worked for or heard from anybody who has worked for dell secureworks in their SOC. I recently had a phone screen and a technical interview and wanted to know more about the environment. The position I applied for was an entry level soc position. I know they have socs in chicago, atlanta, and other places.

An acquaintance of mine worked for them. I recall him saying it sucked, although I don't remember the details. I can reach out for some feedback.

    Thanks. That would be great.

I applied for an entry level position with dell as well. It was about a month ago but I haven't heard anything yet. Does anyone who works for dell or worked for them know how long it usually takes to get contacted by them ? The job I posted for on their site was posted in November but they just put another up about 10 hours ago.

I know they get direct hires and contract to hire.

    Here are the glassdoor reviews:

I just had my phone screen tech interview and passed. It was actually pretty hard for an entry level soc position. It focused more on linux and networking than security. Onsite interview next week. I applied about 5 months ago and just applied. I did notice they make frequent job postings but its random when a Talent Acquisition employee calls you. Its best to know somebody on the inside. I got my resume pulled due to going to a cyber security job fair and talking with a securework rep.

If you don't mind me asking, is the position in GA?

Had a CISSP from SecureWorks call me and basically was nothing more than a salesman. That doesn't sit right with me.

What's the job description? it could be monitoring and analysing some logs (that's what I do anyway, not in DELL though)
