Got a job working at an NOC! Yay! I think A+ and military experience did it.

Thanks webmaster! Well it's entry level so I'm gonna get training for whatever they want me to do. I've never been in an NOC environment before so I have very little clue as to what to expect. They did tell me during the interview that part of my job was to monitor the servers and to accept calls from clients.

I think the best thing from working at a NOC is that you will be exposed to a lot of different systems and equipment, and should give a good overview of the bigger picture. Good luck, and enjoy it.

He's probably running the NOC by now, but I too join you in congratulating him icon_thumright.gif

Wow 2003. I was still in middle school then. I was wondering why this thread and apparently another one ended up at the top of the jobs-degrees section. But congrats anyway, I'm sure you're well past entry level with 9 years of experience.
