.udb or not .udb

If you use the /udf switch with an unattended install,
but do not specify a UDF file, do you supply $unique$.udf
or $unique$.udb?
MS has very conflicting information on this. I keep hearing
about UDB files instead of UDF. Which one is it?

WOW! I figured with all of the high score postings, at least someone would have posted something by now.
I know this forum is more than just a score board.

UDF - uniqueness database file but the file extension is .udb
ie a text file has the extension of .txt
word document has the extesion .doc
etc.
