Study Time From Security+ to SSCP
Hello,
I just wanted to get an idea the amount of overlap and the study time from Security+ to SSCP? For those of you that have done it does two weeks of full time (weekends included) study sound doable? I'm using CBT nuggets, Gibson's All In One, and the ISC2's studISCope practice exam. Trying to get this thing done before the exam objectives change.
Thanks
-Travis

chickenlicken09 Member Posts: 537 ■■■■□□□□□□hey travis, im on par with yourself and i think if i was to hazard a guess at this stage in terms of overlap between the two i would say 80%. I have just read the sscp aio twice and done the trainsignal vids. At this stage im just focusing on how isc questions are asked. Id say two weeks is def doable if you tear into it.

I'm going to give this one 110% and really give as many hours a day as I possibly can..if i can get the videos watched in 2 days..use the rest of that week to go through the AIO book..then use the last week for AIO and studISCope practice questions..I can sit for this bad boy on 4/10 giving me 4 days to schedule a retake if things don't go as planned before the exam changes. Thank you for the positive info!

That is the plan. If i can get the SSCP done..i'm going to give myself probably around 4 months to study and get ready for it. At this point i'm just anxious to sit for security+ Friday, hopefully get the SSCP done in 2 weeks, then get back to work! (I took some time off for school and certs)
