MCA Competition
MITRE Cyber Academy hosts yearly cyber competitions which allow teams to compete against each other in different hacking challenges. Below is a list of our upcoming competitions.
Current Competition
MITRE STEM CTF: Cyber Challenge 2015
A Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Capture the Flag Competition
WHO: High School and Undergraduate College Students
WHEN: September 11-12, 2015
WHERE: Everywhere across the internet.
In support of STEM outreach, MITRE and (ISC)²® are hosting the annual national Capture the Flag (CTF) competition. High school and undergraduate college students will have the opportunity to compete in cybersecurity challenges to gain real-life experience and win national coverage to make a huge impact.
Learn: Fundamental cyber knowledge by using online resources from (ISC)²®.
Understand: Binary exploitation, Web exploitation, forensics, cryptography, and so much more!
Practice: Using Web resources and training challenges powered by the MITRE Cyber Academy™.
Compete: Against students in high school and undergraduate universities across the nation.
Win: College scholarships, SSCP® Exam vouchers, priority consideration for a cyber internship, and other prizes.
Notable industry and academic experts have partnered together to design rigorous challenges for students to solve. Competing in teams of four, students will gain the necessary tools to compete in the nationwide competition.
Winning teams will have the opportunity to receive a college scholarship, vouchers to take the SSCP® Exam, as well as early regard for MITRE’s Industry Partner Cyber Internship program*.

August 2014: MITRE hosted a 24 hours Capture the flag competition in conjunction with (ISC)² which drew over 50 high school and college teams. If you wish to see a static snapshot of the scoreboards from the end of the competitions, there is one available for both the college and high school levels. Challenges can be downloaded from our 2014 ctf game repository.
