Some previous discussion of them. I've not used them myself, other than in the Stanly class.

That looks sweet. We use Dell R900s currently and HP DL 580s. We're going to be moving to the HP C7000 blade system soon. I'm looking forward to having iLO finally but I'm not looking forward to configuring virtual connect (I've heard some horror stories from colleagues that had to set up VDI using these).

Yeah they seem real sweet, cant wait to get my hands on one. The only negative about those it the enclosure goes out your whole network is down ? Redudancy?

literally everything in it is redundant, 2 redundant switches, 4 power supplies only 2 needed, hot-swappable RAID controllers and Fan's. The only thing not hot-swappable is the MoBo controller.

Yeah I look, it support certain blade units, a perc 8 which can support up to 2 gb of cache And really cool mgt application that will streamline the system for you. Just asking what did you choose besides this system ?
