in CCNA & CCENT
Two weeks ago I took the CCNA and got a 821, failed by 4 points! I really had it in my head I was going to pass too.
Studied up on my weak points, took the exam again today with the mindset of I'm just going to give it my best shot, and passed with a 890!
Now that I've passed the CCNA, maybe I'll look into a easy cert like Storage+ or Cloud+ and move onto CCNA Data Center after that.

Priston Member Posts: 999 ■■■■□□□□□□We'll Since CCNA Data Center has a lot of storage related technologies I figure I might start with the Storage+ then move to CCNA DC, but maybe I'll just use some of the Storage+ study material to help me study for the CCNA DC.A.A.S. in Networking Technologies

JasminLandry Member Posts: 601 ■■■□□□□□□□That's sounds like a better idea to me. I think the CompTIA exams are expensive and not worth it, you won't get much ROI in my opinion. The only one I don't regret taking was the Linux+ one, which also gave me the LPIC-1 and SCLA as well. It's the only one that was ever mentioned to me by a colleague or boss.

Lammle Book enough ? -
Priston Member Posts: 999 ■■■■□□□□□□https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/ccna/ccna_exam_v2/exam-topics pretty much tells you what you need to know. I don't want to violate any NDA rules.
For me the Lammle book would not have been enough. I need to actually use the technology or see it used to get a full understanding of it. I only ended up reading about 1/4 of the Lammle book.A.A.S. in Networking Technologies
