So I'm less than a year from separating from the Military and am in need of some suggestions on what I should do in preparation for the transition to the public sector. I'm currently a Network Engineer(6 yrs of experience) with my MSISA from WGU and CCNP/CCDP and various other entry level certifications from EC-Council and CompTIA. My issue right now is that I'm just a general R&S engineer with no focus in any technologies such as Data Center, Voice, etc.
What should I be focusing on over the next couple of months to help me stand out in the public sector?

If you want to work for the Fed Gov, check this link out: Feds Hire Vets - Special Hiring Authorities for Veterans
It is about "Special Hiring Authorities for Veterans". By law, you don't have to compete with civilians for a Fed job if you are eligible. I am pretty sure you are.
Your security clearance will be another competitive advantage. Make sure you make good use of it.
