CCNA expiring soon - which Associate track to consider for renewing?

Hello everyone,
I took a CCNA exam in August 2012 and it's expiring in a few months. I would like to renew it by studying for a CCNA track but can't decide which one to pursue. At my last job, I was a JOAT and my experience let me pass VCP5 and MCSA 2008 without any problems. I didn't do much networking, though, mostly focusing on the server and virtualization stuff.
Right now, I'm in a different country doing something not related to IT, however it will change next year and I'd like to retain my CCNA certification for the future employment opportunities. Which track is currently in most demand?

In this instance I would say that you would probably be best off by renewing the one you already have? -

In demand? Maybe CCNA: DC.
But CCNA Security might be easier. Or as gorebush suggested, renew your CCNA: R/SGoals for 2018:

Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming

I really don't want to take ICND2 once again. If I'm going to spend a couple of months and several hundred dollars on an exam, it better add extra value to my resume. $400 is an average monthly wage where I live right now.

$400 is an average monthly wage where I live right now.

CCNA DC would be easier for you to pass. But I'd prepare for CCNA Voice in your place or even one of the CCNP exams. -

I think the CCNA DC would complement your VCP and it would be the easiest. Since it's 2 tests it will definitely be more expensive.A.A.S. in Networking Technologies

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I also have MCS in Hyper-V so it will definitely help.
