I thought the test was fair. I wouldn't say it was easy, but I wouldn't say it was hard either. I thought the questions were straight forward and easily understood. I used Tom Carpenter's book, Measureup, MVA, and material found on Quizlet. I think the questions resembled those found on Measureup and Quizlet.
I wanted this certification to prove I am familiar with Server 2008. A lot of Industrial Control Systems still use 2008 as the domain controller and database server.

kevb1981 Member Posts: 11 ■□□□□□□□□□congrats on passing the test. I am currently studying for the exam, I have my test on Friday. with being in the forces im having to home study, ive been using cbt nuggets videos, and measure up for my practice exams and getting scores in the 90s. so im feeling confident but hearing conflicting things about cbt nuggets and measure. people saying they are really good, then the next person saying its a load of rubbish.
what did of Measure up do yu think it helped you with you exam. -
realPSI Member Posts: 51 ■■□□□□□□□□I thought Measureup resembled the style and type of questions asked. I think the test difficulty is higher than measureup.

kevb1981 Member Posts: 11 ■□□□□□□□□□I thought that might be the case with measureup. like I said ive been getting good scores and studied hard for it so feeling confident. will just have to live and hope I suppose.

tmcg Banned Posts: 127Congrats on passing. I am due to sit this exam in just over a weeks time. So the exam is similar to measureup? I've been scoring high end 90s. Thanks for the post this certainly gives me an extra confidence boost.

kevb1981 Member Posts: 11 ■□□□□□□□□□I scraped it mate. no it isn't to be honest. On most of the questions their are 3 question in one question if you catch m drift. E.g A few of questions where true or false which you don get on measureup.

Is this your first cert? Some of the other practice questions I have taken have had multiple answers 2 or more so I know to expect questions with more than 1 answer. -
kevb1981 Member Posts: 11 ■□□□□□□□□□how did you go on in the exam? yes that was my first cert. im currently in the forces and wanting a new career. I have started the 70-410 now

riahc3 Member Posts: 59 ■■□□□□□□□□All the questions are multiple choice and/or true false right? Thanks for stating Quizlet but some of the written answers throw me off:A technology from Microsoft for network-based installation of a Windows operating system, including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008. The deployment of Windows can be fully automated and customized through the use of unattended installation scripting files.
INCORRECT: You said WDS
ANSWER: Windows Deployment Services (WDS)
Obviously I got it right but....
Not intrested in MeasureUp since it is paid. -
