Hi EveryoneI'm considering the next leg in my academic journey. I have completed so far:
  • AAS in Computer Engineering Technology - May,2013
  • AAS in Network Engineering Technology - Fall, 2014
  • AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology- Fall,2015 (Expected. It was just a couple of classes after the other two)
I'm looking at attending East Carolina University. Transferring in from a Comm Coll. Probably for Information & Computer Technology Concentration, but the Health Information Technology also sounds interesting. I've emailed out to the advisor, but apparently she's on vacation/college closed for roughly the next week. I was thinking about doing BOTH programs. Do you think it would be worth doing both? Is it worth some extra time to have two programs? Also, several other schools don't have anything (at least that I can find, without talking to advisors at the schools) don't have one that sounds like these or Information Systems Security, but most have Computer Science or Computer Information Systems. The Comp. Info. Sys. sounds relevant to me, but Computer Science is, basically programming...Right? Any other thoughts? Sidenote: How would I list these on a resume? Like Below
  • Bachelor Science of Industrial Technology in Information Computer Technology
  • Bachelor Science of Industrial Technology in Health Information Technology
or maybe
  • BSIT in Information Computer Technology
  • BSIT in Health Information Technology
