Any free firewall training out there? (not cisco gear)
Hello,
Does anyone know of any up to date youtube/website videos on firewall training for brands like Sonicwall, Fortinet, Checkpoint, or Watchguard?
We will have a firewall class in the summer for Cisco Firewalls but looking to learn sonicwall or fortinet.

Does anyone know of any up to date youtube/website videos on firewall training for brands like Sonicwall, Fortinet, Checkpoint, or Watchguard?
We will have a firewall class in the summer for Cisco Firewalls but looking to learn sonicwall or fortinet.
It could be because I support SMB business but Sonic wall has been 100% google-foo since all the ones I have worked on were 100% GUI. Need to block everything outbound on port 25 except the exchange server? That will be a completely different process in the GUI on the Sonicwall, Watchguard, Sophos, etc...too different to bother memorizing each.
Like iBrokeIT said, learning the foundations / fundamentals is probably a good place to start. Then its just a matter of remembering what each vendors calls that process and applying the fix after you google for the how-to.
