I have a subscription to CBT Nuggets but I really want to lab more. Which of these two books do you feel does a better job of providing labs for hands on? Any other suggestions?

For 410 we do use the official book, but none of my classmates, nor the instructor was happy with it, and it's $100 more than the training guide. You had to purchase the lab book separately, so we changed to the training guide after getting approval from the program director for 411 and 412.

bohack Member Posts: 114I concur the training guide is a way better book for that exam... It has guided labs, I use both in my classes I teach and prefer the training guide however it has less content than the training guide, because of the guided labs. If it's a self study... training guide for sure...______________________________________________________________

This is what I used for the entire MCSA: Server 2012 R2 cert (upgrade path). Fantastic book.

I've heard great reviews about that book, but you wouldn't know which objectives are being covered throughout the course of reading that book. -

Print out the complete Skills Measured section and use that as your guide. That's what I would do.WGU Progress: Master of Science - Information Technology Management (Start Date: February 1, 2015)
