A step in the right direction for trying to launch my IT career with some experience as I finish my bachelors. It was a three person panel interview, one male lawyer, one female, and the current Business Application Specialist 2. The gentleman prosecuting attorney was not interested in being there at all. In fact every time I began to answer a question he would roll his eyes, check his watch, and make dismissive noises. Very unprofessional. To boot, he left half way through the interview, to go to court I presume.
Both lawyers spoke over top the BAS 2 who would end up being my supervisor I imagine, she wasn't able to get a word in over these pompous people.
I, of course, was not in my best form and I gave some of the worst answers to the interview questions ever.
Them: What is your process for troubleshooting computer issues. (not very specific)
Me: (blank stare) Umm, I guess I just kinda know what to do. You know, how to fix it. (face palm)
Uhg, it was awful. However, I'm certain I do not want to work for these people and I was happy to receive my rejection letter via certified mail.
I have some other promising leads as well including another interview with DoD.
