Comptia Security+ £229.00 how do they get away with it?
Booking the exam for September and the cost is £229.00. This is not even with the option of a retake if failed, how do they get away with it?
I took Network+ through a college night class and that option, including the exam worked out cheaper than the self study path.
I guess I've no other option to pay it but it sucks! Anyone any ideas of vouchers etc that may give a discount?

superstarmd Member Posts: 12 ■□□□□□□□□□Do you guys know where I can purchase a voucher in Canadian dollars? A few days ago, I paid $246 for a voucher and thought that it was a good deal, but I just checked my bank account today and guess what? They charged me $319 because 1 USD equals 1.29 CAD now...

JohnnyUtah41 Member Posts: 34 ■■□□□□□□□□just passed security+ a few days ago. Legit didn't study at all, just been working for 8 years or so. Not the highest score in the world, but a pass is a pass. After finishing the MCSA 2012, i've been a little burned out and didn't feel like pushing on to the MCSE yet. Anyway, i've taken several weeks off and stumbled upon the security+, always kinda wanted to get it, but thought i would need study time, which right now i do not have. ..long story short..the security+ exam is $302, or i bought some package on comptia's website for $338 that included a free retake if you fail. Now you know why i included my long story. For some reason the price is now $368. Still better than paying $302 again if you fail though.

You can get US or European vouchers but be careful you get the right one for you location!
I paid £179.00 net for my last one, booking direct through Pearsonvue would have cost £226.
