They are giving you a hard time and you have a cert? That's weird. I got in with just Project+ and no experience. This must be a new thing with themWell, I passed the exam for an MTA certification, and they're still giving me a hard time because I told them I don't have IT experience. I told them that it states on their Admissions page that it takes one of the following:- An IT degree
- Demonstrated IT experience
- An IT certification (listed as acceptance)

I spoke with the counselor, and decided not to continue the process. My mentor/counselor was clueless and didn't do a good job explaining anything.
