I need to renew a CCNA that I passed way back in 2004. Which exam do I need to take?

theodoxa Member Posts: 1,340 ■■■■□□□□□□If you passed in 2004 and haven't renewed since, your CCNA expired 8 years ago. In that case, you would have to either take ICND1 + ICND2 or the Composite CCNA exam, just like anyone taking the exam for the first time. If you have renewed it and it is current, then you can take the Composite CCNA Exam, Maybe ICND2 (you would need to confirm), any CCNA Elective (Voice, Security, etc...), any CCNP Level Exam, or a CCIE Written Exam.R&S: CCENT → CCNA → CCNP → CCIE [ ]
