Going from ICND1 to ICND2?
MrPieMan82
Hey all,
So I just passed ICND1 on Monday. Scored 920 out of 1000. Here's the breakdown:
Operation of IP Data Networks 100%
LAN Switching Technologies 91%
IP Addressing IPV4 and IPV6 83%
IP Routing Technologies 86%
IP Services 100%
Network Device Security 75%
I'm thinking I can go for ICND2 in a few weeks, because of the way I prepared for ICND1. I read half of Odom's cert guide, went through all of CBT nuggets for ICND1, went through over half of Trainsignal's videos for ICND1, and, of course, a bunch of hands-on. I have a cisco lab with two routers and two switches.
Looking at some of the sections for ICND2, it appears to be more of some stuff I was tested on in ICND1. For example, Vlans and IPV6. And other parts look to be building off of things I already started learning (EIGRP and OSPF).
Any tips on preparation if you took the two-test route?

No need to rush it. Take a look at the objectives and make sure you know them inside and out. When you feel confident go for the test. Good luck!
