study materials and worthiness of cert

I'm not 100% positive I want to go for this cert or not. I was working on my Security+ because I found it interesting, but I am a bit intimidated by it. After looking into this exam, I found very few up to date books on the material. Does anyone know of any good study materials for it? What would be more deseriable when looking at an entry level tech, this or security+? Thanks

The security+ is more recognized.

I will still train for the I-net+ because I want to get a quick background on some of the programming languages and basic internet functionality.

I think the older books are still great resources. I use the Sybex 2000, with an updated Learn Key 5 dics program for the I-net+. In addition to this, I have a cramsession study guide and will use www.mcmcse.com and www.techexam.net testing.

It seems, at least at first look, pretty good, so we'll see. Anyone have any suggestions for resources like this?
