    Pretty much the same, I cannot afford to attend (Just bought a house) . icon_sad.gif i'm hoping next year will be a different story.

    Oh man, I wish. You'll probably see my manager and some of my team mates presenting though.

    For now, trying to get to the SF one, but not sure if it's financially feasible.

    i am might be attending the VMWorld in SF this year. This should be my 3rd attendance, which means I can now make use of an alumni only meetings and lounges :)
    One of the attendees was kind enough to show his home VDI lab, i had tons of questions, and he kept answering and explaining what to pay attention to while deploying it. That happened to be the VDI vExpert of the year, Sean Massey Sean's IT Blog :)
    shoot me your contact info, if anyone is going, we could meet up and share some knowledge.

    If I go this year it's on my own dime, company have canned the VMware project in favour of OpenStack and are winding down the VMware estate so I have no chance of them paying for it this year (it would have been my 3rd year in a row).

    Tempted to but it will depend what I am doing by that point.

    I more than likely will attend the SF event. Last time I went was 2008 :) Long overdue!

    Are most of you guys who are going to SF attending on your employer's dime? Also, what are most people doing about hotels? Close to Moscone or further afield? Seems like anything close by is $$$$$.
