If you initialize from within Windows Vista, wouldn't it be an Upgrade to Windows 7 or a Custom Install of Windows 7 over the top of Windows Vista?
Id say it was A as long as the Volume had been re-sized to support Dual Boot?

    Good Morning,

To do a dual-boot configuration you should always boot from the media. If you run it from within windows it will do an upgrade install.

    Have a great day.
