in A+
I'm going through a career change with my only experience being the building of gaming computers and fixing various connectivity issues over the years. It is possible for anyone to pass with study and discipline! I probably studied a total of 3 months off and on. I got most of my reading done while underway on a Coast Guard cutter. I took so many practice exams, I was getting to the point of memorizing questions by just seeing the answer choices - from there I knew I was ready.
I used the following:
CompTIA A+ Exam Cram by David L. Prowse
ExamCompass | CompTIA Practice Exams
Practice exams on this site
I have a CompTIA study app on my phone
VCTP CompTIA modules and practice tests (Veterans/Active Duty only)
I ran through Professor Messers online videos two days before the exam (wish I had done this a little sooner, he really cleared some things up with great presentations.)
Good luck to everyone!
