I love how easy it is to setup .. but how to you remove a vCenter again from the first PCS ?

So I rebuilt everything...now I can't connect any VC's to the PSC. The error is something to do with can't register with SSO "Too many names". I'm temped to just say forget it at this time. Huge waste of time... -
jibbajabba Member Posts: 4,317 ■■■■■■■■□□I remember your post so I thought "how hard can it be" - as it turns out - not really hard actually.
Not in my case anyway ... So maybe something is odd in your environment.
During the deployment you are asked for the Deployment Type.
So my FIRST VCSA was setup with integrated PSC
The SECOND, which will be joined to the FIRST was setup so it uses an External PSC
It then asks for the SSO details .. Here I entered the details of the FIRST one
That was it. I then closed and re-opened my Web Client, connected to the FIRST one and saw both vCenters
But now I want to remove the SECOND one again and I got no clue how to do that cleanly ...My own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com -

I suspect you'll have to go into MOB.2018 Certification Goals: Maybe VMware Sales Cert

Was thinking that, but none of the extensions look obvious, unless the vcenter one is the one to remove

dave330i Member Posts: 2,091 ■■■■■■■■■■@jibba,
Are you deleting the 2nd vCenter or moving it to new PCS? If you're deleting vCenter, check out this KB: VMware KB: Cannot remove obsolete solution users from the Lookup Service using the vSphere Web Client. It's for 5.1 & 5.5, but I suspect similar steps for 6.0.
If you're pointing the 2nd vCenter to new PCS, check out this KB: VMware KB: Re-pointing and re-registering VMware vCenter Server 5.1 / 5.5 and components. Again, it's for 5.1 & 5.5.2018 Certification Goals: Maybe VMware Sales Cert

Johnjones Member Posts: 105 ■■□□□□□□□□I wish it were that simple in my environment. I did it at home fine. At work it's a different error each time. I've tried VCSA to VCSA, VCSA-PSC-VCSA and it fails with a different error every time.
