I have been studying hard for 70-292 but after reading on forums over the net it seems few are passing this test! I am starting to become concerned I may be studying for a very hard exam. I dont mind putting the time and effort in, but do you think it would be a better idea to take 70-290 & 70-291 ?

I feel I understand the material I am studying well, but as I said im concerned about the marking/structure of the test. Im 3 quaters my way through the book, any advice?

I've taken the 70-292 exam simply because it is an option. I never considered doing to two separately, and I'm sure that's not an easier option. The 70-292 covers about half of the 290 and half of the 291 exam. And there are some pretty tough topics in the 70-291 exam even if you do use them regularly, but aren't covered in the 70-292 exam.

What are you using besides the book? Make sure you get a good set of practice questions to get used to the Windows 2003 exams, point out your weaknesses, and serve as a guide for what to study.

Hey again Webmaster! :) As well as the Book I have a Test lab of 2 W2K servers. Also, CBT nuggets exam pack for 70-292. I was thinking about buying a selftest exam also as you can get this bundled with an exam voucher from getcertify4less.

I hope you meant W2K3, as in Windows 2003 instead of 2000.

Sounds like you will need to add some practice exams to your study material, to see where you stand.
