Hello all.
I finally made the decision to do some work on the side, but not quitting my day job just yet. I have gotten very good at penetration testing and want to branch out on my own fully one day.
How did you consultants get your first clients?

My first clients came through word of mouth. My first Large client (over 100K in yearly Revenue)came from this board you are a member of.

Go to the local chamber of commerce and attend the meetings. Secure a few smaller clients within 15 minutes of where you live. Then branch out.
