To VCA6-DCV or not to VCA6-DCV?

Hi Folks
As a first venture into VMWare, does anyone have any thoughts as to whether this is a good first step? Does it carry any weight or mean much on a CV? Or should I just wrap up 70-410 and then go straight for the VCP?
I'd also like to do the 74-409 if anyone has any ideas on that?
Thanks in advance

At least that was my conclusion after taking two of them. The VCP is the real thing, that's definitely where you should start your journey.WGU Progress: Master of Science - Information Technology Management (Start Date: February 1, 2015)
