Hi
I was wondering, What qualifications do we need exactly to become a network engineer and start writing a network engineer CV?
Thanks,

Experience would be the big one. After that certifications, degrees etc. Cisco certs are the most widely accepted.

Define "network engineer". What exactly do you want to be doing on a network?

This is a concept I did not realize before I came to these forums. Titles really do mean nothing. What one company considers a Network Engineer may not equal what another company views one of its Network Engineers as.
What do you want to do? Not the title, what role do you want to fill?

Hi,
Thank you for all replies! I am aware that experience is critical! At the moment I work as IT Technician 2-line support but while I am working I want to choose a path for certification and not to go on the wrong way!
I love network design and running enterprise networks - Routing and switching.
